Background & Community Needs

The KKG Gugus dr. Soetomo is a regional teacher working group dedicated to professional teacher development and curriculum collaboration. In past years, sharing teaching materials, assessment rubrics, and training schedules relied on scattered messaging threads, making document archives difficult to retrieve and maintain.

The community needed a dedicated knowledge hub where educators across multiple elementary schools could access standardized teaching materials on demand.

Headless Architecture & Approach

The platform is designed with a modern decoupled stack leveraging Next.js and Sanity Headless CMS:

  • Structured Content Modeling: Sanity Studio allows coordinators to organize teaching modules by grade level, curriculum phase, and academic subject.
  • Fast Asset Delivery: Lesson plans, syllabus documents, and rubrics are hosted on high-availability cloud storage for instant downloads.
  • Clean Responsive Interface: Streamlined UI optimized for rapid browsing during active classroom preparation.

Decoupling the frontend from the CMS ensures content managers can safely update teaching materials without any risk of breaking application layouts or styling.
