ExifNuxt: Photo EXIF Metadata Editor
A desktop app to read, edit, and strip photo EXIF metadata one file at a time or in batches, without touching the original camera values you leave alone.

Photo Metadata Matters More Than It Looks
Every photo carries hidden notes: camera make, lens, exposure settings, time, sometimes GPS coordinates. Those notes help with archiving and copyright, yet they can also reveal where you live once a photo is shared. Changing them usually means command-line tools that aren't friendly to beginners.
ExifNuxt lays all of that metadata out in a clean form. Fix wrong values, add the photographer and copyright, or strip every EXIF tag before a photo goes online.
Key Features
- Open photos quickly: use the dialog (
Ctrl+O) or drag files onto the window. Supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, HEIC/HEIF, and JPEG XL. - Per-file editing: camera, lens, exposure settings, time, photographer, copyright, description, and GPS location.
- Batch editing: tick several photos and change only the fields you want to match. Every other field on each photo stays as it was.
- Copy and paste fields: copy one group (Location, for example) or every field onto other photos. The text also lands on the system clipboard.
- Safe saving:
Ctrl+Soverwrites the original,Ctrl+Shift+Ssaves a copy, and you can strip all EXIF in one step.
ExifNuxt writes only the fields you actually changed, so untouched camera data stays intact.
Technology
The interface uses Nuxt 4 and Nuxt UI 4 on top of Tauri 2. On the Rust side, kamadak-exif reads EXIF and little_exif writes it. For PNG files, EXIF goes into a zTXt chunk, following the ImageMagick and exiftool convention.
